Our Term 1 Learning
This term our learning will take us on our new adventure within school where we will focus on learning about ourselves and settling in to our new school environment. We will be focusing on our own amazing history where we will be exploring deeper into the history of ourselves and our families. We will be undertaking forest school adventures where we will begin to learn about Autumn and Harvest and explore the magnificent countryside that Milstead has to offer. We will be focusing on mark making in art and exploring our five senses during science.
Our Term 2 Learning
This term our learning adventure has taken us on a new space adventure where we have focused on our core text Look Up! by Nathan Bryon, we explored facts about space and meteor showers and wrote fact files to share what we had learnt. We completed some amazing learning about how Christians around the world celebrate Christmas and we eve learnt how Christianity came to England many years ago. We have explored 2D and 3D shapes and enjoyed a wide range of activities where we identified, drew and made shapes.

Term 3 Learning
This term is packed with exciting learning across all our subjects! We’ll dive into our core texts Beegu (Alexis Deacon) and Traction Man (Mimi Grey), exploring brilliant stories full of adventure, imagination, and important messages. In science, we’ll become curious investigators as we learn all about different materials and their properties. Our creative side will shine in art as we experiment with painting and colour mixing to create vibrant masterpieces. In RE, we’ll discover how Jesus brings good news to Christians and why his message is still important today. To keep our bodies moving, PE will be full of energy and expression as we explore dance, using movement to tell stories and have fun together. It’s going to be a lively and inspiring term of learning!
