School Council
At Milstead and Frinsted Primary School pupil voice is led through our school council. At the start of every academic year, each class holds an election to select 2 members per year group (1 boy and 1 girl) to represent them on the school council throughout the year.
Our school councillors meet regularly with Mrs Foord to discuss important school issues and ideas. During our meetings the children raise issues and give ideas to make the school the best it can be. They decide on which charities to support and which events they would like to organise.
Children keep their own minutes and then class representatives’ feedback the information to their class. Sometimes they need to collect votes and opinions from the class to help them make decisions. This is a very important and responsible role which the children really enjoy doing.
This year our school council is:
Year 1 Aurora and Aiden
Year 2 Ben and Elizabeth
Year 3 Hayden and Vienna
Year 4 Maisie and Harry
Year 5 Wesley and Scarlett
Year 6 Teddy and Gina
