Aspen class trip to Kent Life
Aspen class went to Kent Life on a Stone Age day. Some of the learning experiences included: meeting a real Stone Age man called Claw who told the children about his life and gave them Stone Age names. The children also learned about grinding flour the Stone Age way ,worked out how Stone Age people moved Stone Henge. The children drew cave paintings and learned why thumbs and brains helped Stone Age people go from hunter-gatherers to farmers. The children built on their class topic learning and enjoyed their day, getting stuck into all the activities with enthusiasm.
